ZACHARY LEVI COMIC-CON 2012 INTERVIEW (Exclusive Video) – At Comic-Con 2012 there’s always excitement buzzing all around, especially when we look at the growth in popularity over The Nerd Machine’s Nerd HQ. The Nerd Machine is a company and website started by actor Zachary Levi that launched Nerd HQ in last year’s Comic-Con. Nerd HQ holds a series of small panels hosted by celebrities for an exclusive Q&A session that lets the audience ask whatever they want. In partnership with Break Media, XBOX, and Vizio, Nerd HQ has over 15,000 square feet of gaming, technology, and entertainment for visitors to enjoy. The Nerd Machine raised $140,000 for Operation Smile through its “Conversations for a Cause” program this year at Nerd HQ during San Diego Comic-Con 2012. In an interview with ScreenSlam, Zachary Levi talked about Nerd HQ, being an ambassador for Operation Smile, and acting in the upcoming film Thor 2.

“99.9% of the people that come through Nerd HQ, or even at Comic-Con, are really giving. They’re really loving.”

“Everything that I do that’s philanthropically linked, it all goes to Operation Smile.”

We were lucky enough to see Zac put his mouth where the money is when he kissed a girl for 1,000 dollar donation for Operation Smile. The giving didn’t stop there because after the girl got her kiss, Castle star Nathan Fillion threw his own money at the cause for a kiss from Zac. Finally after Zac was able to take a breath, former Chuck co-star and friend Adam Baldwin decided to get in on the action.
