Lionsgate announced today that it will release Hopscotch Features/Lakeshore Entertainment‘s I, Frankenstein in 3D on January 24, 2014. The pic will go up against Open Road Films’ action thriller Ten. I, Frankenstein is set in a dystopic present where vigilant gargoyles and ferocious demons rage in a battle for ultimate power and Victor Frankenstein’s (Aden Young) creation Adam (Aaron Eckhart) finds himself caught in the middle as both sides race to discover the secret to his immortality. Stuart Beattie wrote and directed the pic that’s based on the graphic novel I, Frankenstein by Kevin Grevious. The cast also includes Bill Nighy, Yvonne Strahovski, Miranda Otto, Jai Courtney, Socratis Otto, Mahesh Jadu, and Caitlin Stasey.
